Students: Why can't I register for classes online?

In order to register on-line:

  • Be an active (active status means that a student has been deemed by the Registrar as eligible to enroll) student
  • Be able to login to Banner Self Service  (To login to Banner, use your MyWestern Account credentials)
  • You cannot have any holds on your account (holds can be a result of unfulfilled requirements in Health Service, Judiciary issues, or unpaid bills)
  • Your attempt must be within your designated time to register ( you can determine your registration period by visiting "My Registration Status" in the Student Tab off of the Home Page)
  • You will also need a "Registration PIN" that is obtainable from your assigned academic advisor when you meet with him/her for advice on your course selections.
