Faculty: What is Internet Native Banner?

Internet Native Banner is used by departments responsible for the management of Banner information (e.g. Admissions, Alumni, Cashier's Office, Financial Aid, Fiscal Affairs, Housing and Residence Life, Human Resources, and Registrar).

In addition to the core Banner departments, INB is also used for the following functions:

  • recruitment
  • posting charges
  • budget query
  • online requisition
  • advisee list query
  • course permissions

Access to INB for these functions are coordinated through Admissions (recruitment), Cashier's Office (posting charges), and Fiscal Affairs (budget query and online requisitions). Please note that faculty also have inclusive access to Banner Self Service for the purpose of entering grades, obtain a list of advisees, and access class listings.
